A black wool coat.
Winter can get pretty cold here in the North East, so a black wool coat is essential. This one is from DKNY. When it comes to styling a black wool coat I always try to recreate a ‘60s mod look. It’s also helpful to stick to a monochromatic mood.

Tights.
I’ve always loved incorporating tights into my outfits. These black & white tights from Saks Potts can make any outfit interesting. Plus clothes and accessories that are plastered in logos were seen at Spring 2019’s runway shows.

A blazer.
Blazers make any outfit look more put together. This neutral check blazer is perfect for wannabe parisian girls.

A jumpsuit.
Jumpsuits are super comfortable and stylish. My favorite thing about jumpsuits is that they can be styled casually (in the picture above) or you can dress it up with accessories. This Norma Kamila jumpsuit is made from spandex and is breathable.

band tee’s and tote bags.
Every outfit needs something simple to keep it from looking too hectic. My solution is to add a band tee. I chose this Bowie tee because he’s one of my favorite musicians. What band tee’s do you own?
I also love a good tote bag. They’re perfect for carrying everything you’ll need for the day.

Trench coats are perfect for rainy days. I love to wear mine with plenty layers underneath when it gets very cold.

Denim jeans.
Denim is my go to. I always find a relaxed fit of jeans to be so comfortable and warm. I paired these medium wash jeans from Levi’s with a simple black button up, a vintage neck scarf, a Salvatore Ferragamo brown mohair bag, a black belt from American Apparel, and cowboy boots from L-Train Vintage.
