A Blair Waldorf Approved Accessory

I’m sure that at one point in your life you’ve seen an episode of Gossip Girl. I’ll admit that I’ve never been a hardcore fan, but it has been a guilty pleasure of mine due to the fact that it’s based in New York and of course, the fashion. On the show Blair Waldorf’s most coveted accessory has to be her headband and after a decade it seems as if every city girl has fallen in love with Lele Sadoughi headbands.

At first this brand dominated Instagram, with their pearl embellished headband being the most popular. Many influencers have taken an interest in the brand too. Harling Ross, Fashion Editor for Man Repeller, wrote a feature on Lele Sadoughi’s home, which included photo’s of Sadoughi in her white pearl headband.

The other day when I went to Soho, I found Lele Sadoughi’s headbands in Sam Edelman. The sales associate there told me they’ve been selling out constantly and that customers can’t get enough of it. Other brick-in-mortar stores that sell Lele Sadoughi include Saks 5th Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Nordstrom, and Nieman Marcus. On Lele Sadoughi’s website the most popular styles are always sold out making it the hottest hair accessory this year. So if you’ve ever been intrigued by the posh side of things be sure to invest in headbands this season.
